From doing milk runs at the local grocery store to buying furniture which requires assembly; supplier continuously deliver these products to ensure customer demands are met. As a business, how do you have ‘just the right amount’ of products to minimize overstocked inventory?
Simple. By putting in place the right pull delivery system. There are two primary concepts; Type A, fill-up delivery and Type B, sequential delivery.
Question is when is it appropriate to use type A and type B?
