Forklift Call Systems reduce “sharking” (forklift drivers that hover around the line waiting for what they have to deliver). Instead, they just go to the call board and get the next parts to deliver. This means no waiting or trying to plan out what need to be delivered and no “dump and run” deliveries (forklift drivers dumps a whole bunch of parts at the lineside to last a long time…sometimes days, so that they can move onto the next task) occur anymore either.
