If you search this term on google, I am sure you will find hours worth of reading.
Here is our brief definition based on years of experience deploying continuous improvement at Toyota, and many other industries.
Continuous Improvement = People Development (Process Improvement x Machine Level)
People are the engine that drives continuous improvement. From our 30+ years of observation, any improvement gained in safety, quality, efficiency, cost will be lost in a matter of months if we do not develop our people.
First question most companies had ask us is,”how do we allocate time for our people to do continuous improvement if I need them to ‘keep things running on the floor’?”
We’re happy to share the answer with you. Shoot us an email.
