A properly run Direct to Line system has many benefits. It eliminates the overburden on team members caused by the misuse of the paper Kanban system. It reduces manpower by removing the need to stock warehouse flow racks. In this example, True North Thinking is the bridge between traditional system and the new direct to line system. There are many other considerations for this system to work correctly. It is, however, worth the time to pursue if you have the discipline to make it happen.
