I recently had the opportunity to learn and understand the principles of “Improvement Kata” attending a workshop led by Matt.
The way Matt presented the topic and practically showed how to approach and implement the continuous improvement culture, it has won me over. I have been mesmerized by how simple it can be to change mind set having someone like Matt showing you the path.
The confirmation of that arrived few days after the workshop when Matt introduced the PDCA cycle as scientific thinking to daily problem solving instead of a undefined random hunting for reaction to problems.
The closing point has been for me the Coaching Kata process that it has reinforced the concept of how to make scientific thinking teachable and transferable and also how teams can be united by a challenge, a systemic way of working and a solution!!
I would not hesitate to recommend Matt Elson to any organizations how want to take on the continuous improvement transformation.
